Beefy's Bike Ride
Wales YFC Chairman, Dylan ‘Beefy’ Jones has set himself a challenge ‘Beefy’s Bike Ride’, a 500 mile bike ride around Wales to raise money and awareness of the Wales YFC Charity of the Year, Wales Air Ambulance.
The aim of the bike ride is to cycle around Wales, stopping at all of the 12 County Federations’ Offices and the 3 air bases of the Wales Air Ambulance; Caernarfon, Welshpool and Swansea without forgetting the Wales YFC Centre on the Royal Welsh Showground.
The journey will be completed in stages and Dylan aims to start at the Gwent Federations’ County Office in Gwent College, Usk (date to be confirmed) and aims to arrive in Cardiff in time for the Wales YFC Freshers weekend on the 5th of October.
YFC members and officials from all counties are encouraged to accompany him on various legs of the journey to guide him on his way and to hold fundraising events and activities during the challenge.
Dylan states;
“The challenge is ambitious and I hope that the whole membership will get behind me and support me.”
