- Montgomery YFC has 19 Clubs
- The Federation was founded in 1938
- Completely bilingual – some Clubs English, some Clubs Welsh, others both languages
- Compete in all national competitions, Welsh and English
- Montgomeryshire is situated in the north of Powys
- Members enjoy meeting members from other counties by taking part in Club/County Exchanges, NFYFC Annual General Meeting and Wales YFC Annual General Meeting and socialising at the Royal Welsh Show
- Nicola Walker is a pastCountyChairpersonof Montgomery YFC and is currently Chairman of the Wales YFC Training and Promotions committee
- The County is proud of its strong Discovery programme which many members have taken advantage of, including trips toTexasandKenya
