Best Prime Lamb Producer

Ryan Mills of Troedriwdalar YFC in Brecknock bred the champion lambs in the Wales YFC Best Prime Lamb Producer sponsored by Dunbia. The reserve champion was bred by Carwyn Pugh of Trecastle YFC, Brecknock.
Ryan Morris of Aberedw YFC, Radnor won theaward for thebest stockman with his display board showing costings, pictures and information.
Judging theboards was Glynne Jones, Dunbia Group Lamb Procurement Manager. Glynne said, “It was refreshing to see theamount of work that theyoung farmers had put into theboards. This complimented thetime which had clearly been spent on thelivestock as well, underlines thefact that thecompetitors were competent as regards both thepractical and theoretical sides of production. Ryan was chosen as thewinner because his board was both professional and comprehensive giving theonlooker an in depth insight into theprocess of rearing lambs to thehighest standards. Well done Ryan!”
