YFC MEMBERS READY TO SEE THE WORLD!



39 Members chosen to travel through the Wales YFC International Travel Programme.

On Sunday 12th November YFC members from across all 12 Counties attended the International selection day. During the day, members from all over Wales took part in interviews to gain a travelling oppertunity with Wales YFC. This year there were opportunities to travel to Finland, Scotland, Northen Ireland, Canada, the USA and new opportunities to travel to Germany and Uganda. Members also had the opportunity tio attend the Rural Youth Europe Seminar in Budapest, an autumn seminar in Finland or the European Rally in Scotland. There was also an option for members to travel to Patagonia in September 2019.

Travelling with the Wales YFC International programme offers once in a lifetime opportunities for our members. The programme ensures that rural members benefit from Wales YFC’s international ties and gives members an insight into how different countries around the world life their day to day lives. The trips available are unique, and opportunity to make friends across the world are endless and friends for life. Anyone who has travelled with the Wales YFC programme have gained confidence to travel again and learned a lot about the countries they have visited. This year again we had over 50 candidates with all 12 counties represented in the International Selection day. It is great to see so many members applying for the programme and with the popularity growing year on year.
