OVERSEAS

The opportunity to travel abroad is one of the many opportunities that is offered by Wales YFC to its members and over the years many young people of all ages have travelled with the programme.

Each year members must submit an application form prior to a special ‘briefing and selection day' where members can find out about past experiences, what's involved and what's required of them to secure a trip. Members are also given help and advice and are guided through the selection process.

As well as the opportunity to travel abroad, the International Programmes gives members the chance to host members from other countries. These members want to see how we live, work and spend our leisure time and the ideal way for them to do this is to become ‘one of the family'.

Travelling and hosting with the YFC can be a very rewarding experience that will often result in the creation of long lasting friendships.
