Wales YFC 'signposts' a number of training courses delivered by outside organisations to their members each year. The Training and Promotions' committee is responsible for co-ordinating and promoting relevant courses or training days to the members.

Did you know that as a member of YFC, you can use your YFC activities towards achieving a Duke of Edinburgh's Award?

There is a lot of overlap between DofE programmes and the wide range of competitions and events which you may already take part in with the YFC.

Do you want to receive a qualification (that’s recognised by universities and employers) for an activity you enjoy taking part in with the YFC?

It’s as simple as;

1.   Prove it – All you need is proof for something you already do within YFC

2.   Get it – Get a certificate

3.   Use it – can use the qualification in your CV
